It’s beginning to look a lot like the 2012 Holiday House...soon the doors will open and visitors will experience the magic of a child’s imagination and rekindle memories of holidays past.
A Vision of Sugarplums, hosted by the Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment is the theme of the 2012 Holiday House, which runs November 9th - 11th.

MMAE invites the public to tour Holiday House and see for yourself how Charlotte’s most creative floral designers have captured the spirit of the holidays.
Tucked away in Stonegate, a neighborhood between SouthPark and Quail Hollow (see map), the 2012 Holiday House is a beautiful English Farm Style residence built by Kingswood Homes; it’s also the perfect backdrop for a warm and inviting experience.

This year’s theme, Visions of Sugarplums, is most appropriate because our hosts, Dr. Chris and Cortney Danner, are the parents of four young children. Chris is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist with Mintview Women's Care, P.A. and Cortney, is a busy mom, who also works part time as a physicians assistant. Theirs is a home where youngsters delight in the excitement of the upcoming holidays and dream of stockings stuffed with surprises and goodies.

Visions of Sugarplums is the primary fundraiser for The Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment, an organization that has focused on building a healthier Mecklenburg County for over 75 years. Proceeds from the Holiday House will benefit the Alliance Endowment.
Grants from MMAE’s Endowment have provided seed money for such efforts as Physicians Reach Out and Samaritan House. Endowment funds have underwritten the cost of sending children fighting serious illnesses to specialized camps; provided AEDs through The Lucky Hearts Campaign to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and local law enforcement, to name just a few.
